This was in our newspaper yesterday. It's not my street, but it looks identical to it--I had to really look carefully to see that it wasn't.

It is beautiful in an eerie sort of way. We went through a similar ice storm in '98 and despite the cold and lack of power, I remember how pretty the trees looked, enrobed in ice. Our street was out of power for 10 days, and we ended up seeking refuge with friends, too. I hope the crisis ends soon for you!

Wow...that doesn't even look like a *street*...it is beautiful, though i wish it wasn't at your house! I hope you are okay and the power is on soon.
